Jimny Gen 4 Bumper Combo

The Jimny Gen 4 bumper combo upgrades the front and rear of your vehicle with a matched Des Sol protection package. It combines a hoop front bumper with a lightweight rear bumper, integrated towbar and recovery hardware.

Des Sol manufactures both bumpers from corrosion-resistant steel. As a result, they provide dependable protection without adding unnecessary weight. Their bolt-on design also fits both three-door and five-door Jimny Gen 4 models.

Hoop Front Bumper

The hoop front bumper helps protect the grille and front bodywork. The base unit weighs approximately 29kg, including the bash plate, recovery points and 3.5-ton shackles.

Furthermore, the compact design improves the vehicle’s approach angle compared with the original bumper. Therefore, the Jimny can approach steeper obstacles with less front overhang below the vehicle.

Winch-Compatible Design

The standard front bumper does not include a winch. However, its design allows a compatible winch to be added later without removing the complete bumper.

To add a winch, remove the standard front grille insert and install the winch in the prepared position. Afterwards, fit the correct winch-compatible grille insert.

Always confirm the winch size, mounting pattern and electrical requirements before ordering. In addition, professional installation is recommended for the winch and its power cables.

Corrosion-Resistant Rear Bumper

The rear bumper weighs less than 26kg and uses corrosion-resistant steel. Therefore, it provides dependable rear protection without unnecessary weight.

Des Sol also applies E-coating and powder coating for lasting protection. This finish helps guard the bumper against moisture and the demanding conditions encountered during touring and off-road use.

Towbar and Rear Protection

The rear section of the Jimny hoop bumper combo includes an integrated towbar and wiring harness. It also includes built-in recovery points and shackles.

Its compact shape improves the departure angle compared with a standard Jimny fitted with a separate low-hanging towbar. As a result, the rear of the vehicle has better clearance when leaving steep obstacles.

Additionally, removable cages help protect the rear lights during off-road use. You can remove the cages when required for cleaning or maintenance.

OEM Lighting and Vehicle Integration

The rear bumper reuses the original Suzuki Jimny tail lights and number-plate lights. Consequently, the installation avoids unnecessary cutting and joining of the original lighting loom.

The bumper design also supports the factory parking sensors. Five-door configurations include integrated provisions for the rear parking sensors and camera.

However, three-door and five-door mounting details can differ. Therefore, confirm the vehicle body style, model year, parking sensors and camera equipment before ordering.
