However, no recovery point can prevent damage caused by unsafe recovery methods. Drivers should always use suitable recovery equipment and keep the pulling force as straight and controlled as possible.

8mm SUPRAFORM HR Steel Construction

Des Sol produces the Suzuki Jimny rear recovery points from 8mm SUPRAFORM HR steel. This high-strength hot-rolled steel offers good forming and welding properties, making it suitable for strong automotive brackets and chassis-related parts.

First, Des Sol applies a cathodic epoxy E-coat to help cover exposed surfaces. The powder-coated outer layer then adds further protection and creates a clean, durable finish.

Vehicle and Tow-Bar Compatibility

This Jimny recovery-point set fits Gen 4 three-door and five-door models. However, the separate rear kit is designed specifically for vehicles fitted with a compatible Bosal tow bar.

Important: Confirm the tow-bar brand and model before ordering. These recovery points may not fit the factory tow bar, the Des Sol Rear Bumper and Tow Bar, or other aftermarket tow bars without written confirmation from Des Sol.

Installation and Safe Recovery

A trained installer should fit the Jimny Gen 4 rear recovery points and tighten all hardware correctly. After installation, check the brackets, shackles and fasteners before every recovery and after any hard pull.

Always use load-rated recovery equipment that suits the vehicle and recovery method. Furthermore, keep people away from the recovery area and never stand in line with a loaded rope or strap. Avoid sharp side pulls because an extreme recovery angle can bend brackets or damage the vehicle.

Replace any bent, cracked, heavily worn or damaged part before using the recovery system again. Also, clean and repair deep coating damage to help prevent corrosion.
