Suzuki Jimny Gen 4 Roof Rack Ladder

The Jimny Gen 4 roof rack ladder provides a practical way to reach equipment stored on your vehicle’s roof rack. It fits both Suzuki Jimny Gen 4 three-door and five-door models.

Lightweight Aluminium Construction

Furthermore, Des Sol applies the same specialised five-stage coating process used on its aluminium roof racks. This finish helps protect the ladder against weather and surface corrosion during regular outdoor use.

No-Drill Rear-Door Fitment

The mounting brackets grip securely around the top and bottom edges of the rear door. Therefore, installation does not require drilling holes or permanently bolting through the vehicle’s bodywork.

Correct alignment remains important. A trained installer should position the brackets carefully so the ladder does not damage the door, seals, glass or surrounding trim. Also, confirm that the rear door opens and closes correctly after installation.

All Grip Step Treads

The Suzuki Jimny rear door ladder uses Des Sol All Grip step treads to improve footing, including in damp conditions. However, water, mud, oil and loose dirt can still make any ladder slippery.

Before climbing, clean the steps and inspect the ladder. Then, face the vehicle and maintain three points of contact while moving up or down.

Accessory Mounting Points

The Jimny Gen 4 roof rack ladder includes extra mounting holes for compatible accessories. Nevertheless, any added accessory changes the load placed on the rear door. Confirm the accessory, hardware and permitted weight with Des Sol before fitting it.

Compatibility and Safe Use

This ladder suits Suzuki Jimny Gen 4 three-door and five-door models. It does not fit the Jimny Gen 3 unless Des Sol confirms otherwise. Also, confirm compatibility with your roof rack, spare-wheel setup and other rear-door accessories.

Important: Only climb the ladder while the rear door is fully closed and securely latched. Park on firm, level ground and never exceed the ladder or rear door’s stated load limit.
