The Jimny Gen 4 stainless steel snorkel raises the engine’s air-intake point for dusty roads and off-road travel. Des Sol makes the snorkel from strong 304 stainless steel and finishes it with a durable black powder coating.
The snorkel fits Suzuki Jimny Gen 4 three-door and five-door models. In addition, its 2.5-inch tube provides a direct raised-air-intake path while creating a strong, distinctive appearance.

304 Stainless Steel Construction
The 304 stainless steel construction provides strength and good resistance to outdoor conditions. Meanwhile, the black powder coating adds another protective layer and gives the snorkel a neat finish.
However, coastal air, mud and saltwater still require routine care. Therefore, rinse the snorkel with fresh water after harsh exposure and inspect the coating for chips or damage.
Raised Air-Intake Position
A raised intake can draw air from a higher position than the standard intake opening. As a result, it may reduce the amount of dust and debris drawn from the wheel-arch area during convoy driving or off-road use.
The vehicle’s standard air filter remains essential. Check and replace the filter according to the service schedule, and inspect it more often after dusty trips.
Built-In One-Way Drain Valve
The Suzuki Jimny snorkel includes a one-way valve designed to reduce the chance of water reaching the intake system. Nevertheless, the valve does not make the engine or vehicle waterproof.
Before any water crossing, inspect the complete intake path, joints and seals. Also, consider the vehicle’s differential breathers, transmission breathers, electrical systems and approved wading depth.
Auxiliary Relay Mounting Points
The internal engine-bay bracket provides mounting positions for up to three auxiliary relays. Therefore, it can help organise relays for suitable lights or other electrical accessories.
A qualified auto electrician should install and wire every relay. Use the correct fuses, cable sizes and weather-resistant connections for each accessory.
Professional Installation Required
Installing the Jimny Gen 4 stainless steel snorkel requires accurate positioning, body-panel cutting and proper sealing. Des Sol provides fitment guidance and a cutting template for the approved installation process.
A trained installer should complete the work. After fitment, inspect the intake joints and test the system for air or water leaks. Furthermore, repeat these checks after rough-road travel or engine-bay work.
