Jimny Gen 4 transfer case protection helps guard one of the vehicle’s most exposed drivetrain parts from rocks, ridges and other trail hazards. Des Sol designed this underbody guard for Suzuki Jimny Gen 4 three-door and five-door models.
Made from lightweight STRENX 700 steel, the guard combines strength with a practical design. In addition, formed and dimple-died sections add strength without unnecessary bulk. Therefore, it provides useful protection while keeping added weight under control.

Protection for the Transfer Case
The transfer case sits in a vulnerable position beneath the Jimny. As a result, rocks, hard ridges and uneven ground can place it at risk during off-road driving. This Suzuki Jimny transfer case guard creates a strong barrier between the transfer case and the terrain below.
Its close-fitting shape also helps maintain useful ground clearance. However, drivers should still choose their lines carefully because no guard can prevent every form of impact damage.
Lightweight STRENX 700 Steel
Des Sol uses lightweight STRENX 700 steel to provide a strong yet weight-conscious design. Furthermore, the formed sections help the transfer case protector resist bending during demanding use.
The E-coated and powder-coated finish adds another layer of protection against dirt, water and harsh trail conditions. Consequently, the guard is well suited to touring, overlanding and regular off-road use.
Fitment and Inspection
A trained installer should fit the Jimny Gen 4 transfer case protection and check all mounting points carefully. The installer must also confirm safe clearance around the transfer case, driveshafts, exhaust, wiring and all moving parts.
After installation, inspect the fasteners after the first off-road trip. Also, check the guard after any hard impact and at normal service intervals. Replace any damaged or missing hardware before driving off-road again.
Important: This product protects the transfer case only. Front differential, rear differential and other underbody guards are sold separately. Do not use the guard as a jacking, towing or recovery point.
