Suzuki Jimny Castor Bushes
Des Sol 0° Suzuki Jimny castor bushes replace worn factory bushes without changing the original castor angle. As a result, they help restore proper radial-arm support, suspension movement and steering feel.
These OEM-style bushes are suitable when the original components have become worn, cracked or loose. In addition, the complete set includes bushes for both the axle and chassis ends of the front radial arms.
Benefits of Replacing Worn Bushes
- Helps restore factory suspension movement
- Supports more consistent steering response
- Helps reduce unwanted radial-arm movement
- Supports vehicle stability and road comfort
- Direct replacement for worn factory bushes
- Maintains the original 0° castor position
OEM-Style 0° Geometry
The Jimny OEM castor bushes use a centred 0° design. Therefore, they maintain the original position of the front radial arms instead of adding castor correction.
Worn bushes can allow unwanted movement between the radial arms, axle and chassis. Consequently, the vehicle may develop less precise steering, additional vibration or an unsettled feeling on the road.
Replacing the worn components helps the suspension work as intended. However, other steering and suspension parts should also be inspected before installation.
When to Replace Castor Bushes
Inspect the Suzuki Jimny suspension bushes if you notice cracking, damaged rubber or excessive movement. Uneven steering response, knocking sounds and poor axle control may also indicate worn bushes.
However, these symptoms can have several causes. Therefore, a qualified installer should inspect the complete front suspension before parts are replaced.
What the Bush Kit Includes
- Two front radial-arm axle-side bushes
- Two front radial-arm chassis-side bushes
- Four bushes in total
- 0° OEM replacement geometry
Together, the four Jimny replacement bushes service both front radial arms. Therefore, the set allows the related bushes to be replaced at the same time.
Fitment Information
Professional installation is recommended because the old bushes must be removed and the replacements pressed into the radial arms correctly. In addition, the installer should tighten the suspension hardware at the correct ride position and to the required torque.
A wheel alignment and castor check are also recommended after installation. This confirms that the steering geometry remains within the correct range.
Important: These are centred 0° OEM replacement bushes. They do not correct castor changes caused by a suspension lift. If your lifted Jimny requires castor correction, use the appropriate correction bushes or corrected radial arms.
