EV1L50 Adjustable Reservoir Control

First, the 20-stage high-speed setting controls the shock response during sudden and hard impacts. Meanwhile, the separate 9-stage low-speed setting helps manage body movement during braking, cornering and slower suspension travel.

Therefore, the EV1L50 adjustable suspension allows you to firm up the ride when carrying touring equipment. You can also soften the settings when the Jimny carries less weight.

In addition, the external reservoirs increase the available oil volume and help the shocks manage heat. This helps reduce shock fade when the suspension works hard for long periods.

Dual-Rate Coils for Changing Loads

The dual-rate coils use two spring rates to provide a more flexible suspension setup. The softer section supports comfort and suspension movement when the vehicle carries less equipment. However, the firmer section provides added support as the load increases.

EV1L50 Warranty and Servicing

Des Sol designed the EV1L50 shock absorbers so they can be rebuilt, serviced and tuned. Therefore, if the Jimny gains weight after you add accessories, the shocks can be re-valved to suit the updated load. Labour and shim-stack costs may apply.
