Choose the Correct Jimny Model

This combination is available for both Suzuki Jimny Gen 4 body styles. Therefore, select either the three-door or five-door version before adding the product to your basket. The racks differ in size and weight, so the two options are not interchangeable.

Low-Profile Aluminium Roof Rack

The high-strength aluminium frame provides a useful balance between strength and weight. Meanwhile, the low-profile shape helps create a neat fit above the Jimny’s roof.

Des Sol assembles the frame and slats with internal stainless steel hardware. As a result, the upper loading surface remains flat and free from exposed bolt heads that could catch equipment while you load or unload it.

Five-Stage Protective Coating

The Jimny Gen 4 roof rack uses Des Sol’s specialised five-stage coating system. This coating helps protect the aluminium against weather and surface corrosion during regular outdoor use.

Matching Roof Rack Ladder

The included ladder provides a practical way to access equipment on the rack. Consequently, you can reach tie-down points and organise touring gear more easily than when working from the vehicle’s door openings.

However, always make sure the ladder and vehicle stand on stable, level ground before climbing. Maintain three points of contact and never exceed the ladder’s stated load limit.

Accessory Mounting Options

The Suzuki Jimny roof rack ladder combo supports a range of compatible touring accessories. These may include awning brackets, shower mounts, under-rack table brackets, jerry can holders and load-securing eye bolts.

Some third-party accessories may also fit. Nevertheless, mounting points can differ between brands. Confirm compatibility and order the correct Des Sol adaptor brackets where required.

Installation and Roof-Load Safety

A trained installer should fit the roof rack and ladder. After installation, check that all mounting points remain secure. Furthermore, inspect the system after the first trip and regularly after rough-road travel.
