EV1L50 Remote-Reservoir Performance

The EV1L50 shocks use a large-bore monotube design to provide steady damping and suspension control. Meanwhile, the external reservoirs increase the available oil volume. Therefore, the shocks can manage heat more effectively during long periods of hard use.

The class-leading oil volume also helps reduce shock fade in extreme conditions. Furthermore, the thick-walled aluminium bodies support effective heat transfer while protecting the internal components.

These Jimny EV1L50 shocks do not have external high-speed or low-speed adjusters. Instead, Des Sol configures the internal valving to match the required performance level.

Two-Stage Hydraulic Bump Stop

The hydraulic bump-stop system adds control as the suspension approaches the end of its compression travel. Consequently, it helps soften harsh bottom-out events during demanding off-road driving.

The revised aluminium piston also supports more accurate internal tuning. As a result, Des Sol can configure the shock response for different vehicle weights and driving needs.

Des Sol can rebuild, service and tune the Jimny 50mm lift shocks. Therefore, if your vehicle becomes heavier after adding accessories, the shocks can be re-valved for the updated load.

The modular design also allows the product to support future improvements. However, labour and shim-stack costs for re-valving are excluded unless specifically stated otherwise.
